Tweet Stream adds a widget to WordPress that will display a users tweets as well as recent mentions. Choose from several options including displaying your avatar and the number of tweets you’d like displayed.
To Install simply:
- Upload the ‘tweet_stream’ directory to the `/wp-content/plugins/` director
- Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
- Go to ‘Appearance’ -> ‘Widgets’ to add and configure Tweet Stream to your Widget enabled areas.
Wondering what the Tweet Stream looks like:
Here’s the configuration options:
And Here is how it looks with default styling on the front end:

Tom, I’m trying to use this widget for several users on the same page. Even with distinct usernames, all of them inherit the username of the first instance. So for all the tweet-streams for different users (on the same page), they all display the first user’s tweets?
Any suggestions?
Sorry your having issues, I will look at this tomorrow and see if I can duplicate the issue. Can you tell me what version of WordPress your using and which version of the plugin?
Mike,
A change to the caching mechanism was done and you should see a new version released soon. The new version 1.1 should fix this issue. Thanks for catching it and letting me know.
Tom
Version 1.0…..and 3.1.3
thanks for looking at this… http://www.tacoeaters.com is the dev site that I’ve tried to implement if you want to look it looks like with multiple usernames on the same page.
thanks! That fixed that…..something I didn’t notice, and have been testing this AM. Long URLs do not wrap. Tiny URLs don’t seem to be a problem. I fixed in the CSS by using: a {word-wrap: break-word;} but not sure if that’s the most efficient method or not. Just an FYI for next release…
Thanks, I’ll look into it.
On line 193, in tweet_stream.php, I think there is a typo :: ‘tgt_tweet_streem’
